Salman’s Ek Tha Tiger collects Rs 32.92 cr at Box Office on first day

Salman Khan's much-hyped film Ek Tha Tiger has got an overwhelming response at the Indian Box Office on the first day of its release. As per the early trends, the romantic action thriller has raked in approximately Rs 32.92 crores nett at the collection centres across the country. With this, it has shattered all previous records including that of Agneepath. The movie has turned out to be all time biggest opener in Bollywood.

The huge hype around the movie Ek Tha Tiger and the Salmania had created a lot of curiosity among the film goers. The theatres screening of the film were overflowing with movie buffs within and outside on the opening day. In many theatres, the police were called in to control the mob, which left many crazy fans of Salman, who did not get a chance to see his film on the first day.

Ek Tha Tiger opened to an earth-shattering response at the Box Office. The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer movie, which was released on 3,300 screens on August 15, registered 100% occupancy in both single screens and multiplexes across the country on the first day. It has garnered unheard and unimaginable figures in all the circuits.

According to Taran Adarsh, Ek Tha Tiger has collected more than Rs 2 crores in Rajasthan alone and this collection is much bigger than that of Agneepath, which had scored Rs 1.30 crore in this circuit on the opening day. As per Taran Adarsh's calculations, its first day business has crossed Rs 32.92 crores nett.
