Akshay
Kumar's
recent
release
Rowdy
Rathore
has
turned
out
to
be
one
of
the
biggest
money
spinners
of
the
year
2012.
Besides
good
weekend
collection,
the
action
thriller
movie
has
done
very
well
at
the
Box
Office
in
the
weekdays
too.
But
now,
the
trade
analysts
feel
that
another
most
anticipated
movie
Shanghai,
which
is
releasing
today,
might
slow
down
the
pace
of
the
film
at
the
collection
centres.
Shanghai
is
a
political
thriller
movie,
which
has
been
directed
by
Oye
Lucky!
Lucky
Oye!
fame
Dibakar
Banerjee.
The
film
features
popular
stars
like
Abhay
Deol,
Emraan
Hashmi
and
Kalki
Koechlin
in
the
leads.
It
has
been
in
news
ever
since
it
hit
the
floor
and
that
too
for
all
good
reason.
The
makers
of
Shanghai
have
had
extensive
promotional
activities
for
the
film.
Its
promo
trailers
and
posters
have
created
a
lot
of
curiosity
among
the
movie
buffs.
Moreover,
the
music
of
the
film,
which
has
been
composed
by
Vishal-Shekhar,
has
already
become
very
popular.
Especially,
the
song
'Bharat
Mata
Ki
Jai'
has
become
the
favourite
of
the
music
lovers.
However,
previous
week's
release
Rowdy
Rathore
has
already
collected
more
than
Rs
80
crore
nett
at
the
Box
Office
in
India.
It
is
all
set
to
score
century
this
weekend.
But
now,
Akshay-Sonakshi
starrer
is
facing
a
big
threat
from
Shanghai,
which
has
all
the
potential
to
stop
its
roaring.
It
should
be
seen
whether
Emraan-Abhay
starrer
will
really
slow
the
pace
of
Rowdy
Rathore
at
the
Box
Office.
