Son Of Sardar fails to gross Rs 100 crore at Box Office

Hindi movie Son Of Sardar (SOS) has done a record breaking business collection at the worldwide Box Office with its 10-day-extended first week total reaching Rs 97.12 crores nett. The Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha starrer was expected to surpass Rs 100 crore mark, but it has just missed out to achieve this magic figure.

Son Of Sardar, which was released on 2000 screens in India on November 23, has received a very good response across the country. Despite facing rough waves from Jab Tak Hai Jaan, this romantic comedy has raked in Rs 83.25 crore nett at the domestic collection centres in 10-day-extended first week. It has broken all the records of Ajay Devgn's previous Blockbusters.

Son Of Sardar has also done very good business collection at the overseas Box Office. Ajay Devgn's last release Bol Bachchan had collected approximately Rs 7.7 crores at the international collection centres whereas Son Of Sardar has raked Rs 13.87 crores nett ($ 2.5 million) at the foreign Box Office in the 10-day-extended first week.
