Son Of Sardar 1st weekend collection at overseas Box Office
Ashwni Dhir's third directorial venture Son of Sardar (SOS), which is the Hindi remake of Telugu movie Maryada Ramanna, has received a wonderful response at the overseas Box Office. The Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha starrer has collected Rs 10.79 crores nett ($1.96 million) at the international collection centres in six-day-extended first weekend. With this, it has become the best opener of Ajay in foreign countries.
Despite facing tough competition from Shahrukh Khan's Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Son of Sardar started running with a fabulous note and landed in the second spot in international business chart. The romantic comedy movie has done excellent collection in foreign countries like UK, USA, UAE, Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
However, Son of Sardar has also done record-breaking collection at the Indian Box Office with its six-day extended first weekend collection reaching Rs 66.02 crores. The movie has raked in Rs 76.81 crores nett at the worldwide Box Office in its opening weekend.
