Vidya Balan's Kahaani declared hit at Box Office

Vidya Balan's latest movie Kahaani, which has been directed by Sujoy Ghosh, is not only a critically acclaimed film, but it is also doing well at the Box Office. Although it began its collection with a low note, the film has showed significant growth at collection centers on Saturday and Sunday. It is already running in profit.

Kahaani is a medium budget movie, which has been made with a whopping amount of Rs 18.5 crores. The movie has fetched Rs 8 crores from its satellite and music rights. It has raked in another Rs 16.5 crores nett from its release in India and overseas in the first weekend. With this it has already made a profit of Rs 6 crores.

However, Char Din Ki Chandni, which was released with Kahaani, has utterly failed at the Box Office and there are no big competitor for the film except Paan Singh Tomar. Moreover, Kahaani is going to be the first choice of movie buffs in its second week as there are no big releases. It is going to be super duper hit at the Box Office.
