Mumbai:
March,
which
is
considered
as
the
month
of
exams
for
schools
and
colleges,
seems
to
be
unlucky
month
for
Bollywood.
Except
Jolly
LLB,
most
of
the
big-ticket
films
released
in
this
month
have
bombed
at
the
Indian
Box
Office.
Aatma
and
Rangrezz,
which
hit
the
screens
this
weekend,
are
the
latest
entrants
in
this
list.
Both
new
releases
have
stooped
before
last
week's
release
Jolly
LLB.
Aatma
and
Rangrezz
are
highly-talked
about
Bollywood
movies
and
the
makers
of
the
films
had
massive
promotion
prior
their
release.
They
were
expected
to
start
with
a
bang
at
the
Box
Office.
But
they
opened
to
weak
response
and
did
not
witness
major
growth
all
through
the
weekend.
They
have
become
disasters
at
the
domestic
Box
Office.
Aatma
starring
Bipasha
Basu
and
Nawazuddin
Siddiqui
in
leads,
has
collected
Rs
5
crores
nett
at
the
domestic
Box
Office
in
first
weekend.
Whereas
Rangrezz
featuring
Jackky
Bhagnani
and
Priya
Anand
in
leads
has
raked
in
Rs
4
crores
nett
at
the
desi
collection
centres.
Trade
experts
feel
that
they
may
struggle
to
recover
their
production
cost.
