After
an
average
collection
over
the
first
weekend,
Hindi
movie
Himmatwala,
starring
Ajay
Devgn
and
Tamanna
Bhatia
in
leads,
has
shown
a
considerable
amount
of
dip
in
its
business
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
on
the
weekdays.
Trade
experts
feel
that
if
the
Sajid
Khan-directed
flick
goes
at
the
current
pace,
it
would
not
be
able
to
cross
Rs
50
crore
mark
at
the
domestic
collection
centres
in
the
first
week.
Himmatwala,
which
is
one
of
the
highly
talked
about
Bollywood
films
of
2013,
opened
to
below-the-expected-mark
response
on
Friday.
When
the
producers
were
expecting
it
to
have
a
big
jump
on
Saturday,
the
movie
dropped
considerably.
Its
business
went
upwards
on
Sunday,
but
it
was
low
by
15%+
when
compared
to
its
opening
day
business.
The
business
of
the
Ajay
Devgn
and
Tamanna
starrer
dropped
by
nearly
60%
on
first
Monday,
when
compared
to
its
Sunday
collection.
And
it
dipped
further
on
Tuesday.
Himmatwala
has
collected
Rs
39.70
crores
nett
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
five
days.
Its
breakup
is
Rs
12.1
cr
on
Fri,
Rs
8.5
cr
on
Sat,
Rs
10.5
cr
on
Sun,
Rs
4.5
cr
on
Mon
and
Rs
4.1
cr
on
Tue.
The
most
disheartening
aspect
about
Himmatwala
that
it
was
mauled
by
reputed
critics
and
the
word
of
mouth
is
extremely
negative.
The
movie
had
got
some
hope
by
fetching
good
numbers
in
mass-dominated
circuits
on
first
day.
Even
these
numbers
went
on
a
declining
spree
on
the
following
days.
Sajid
Khan
had
hoped
to
score
his
second
century
with
this
film.
But
trade
experts
feel
that
his
dreams
will
be
shattered
as
it
will
not
be
able
to
surpass
Rs
100
crore
mark
even
at
the
worldwide
Box
Office.
