Bhaag Milkha Bhaag Second Week Collection At Box Office

Farhan Akhtar starrer Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, which continued its victorious march, has once again done superb collection at the Indian Box Office in the second week. But the Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra-directed biopic, which was the frontrunner in the weekend race, has been pushed to second place, while new release Ramaiya Vastavaiya topped the domestic collection chart.

Undeterred by new releases D-Day and Ramaiya Vastavaiya, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag continued to keep the bells ringing at the ticket counters and topped the desi business chart with its collection reaching Rs 16.55 crores nett in the second weekend. On weekdays, its business dropped with the movie adding Rs 9.5 crore to its 14-day-domestic total Rs 79.79 crores nett. Its breakup is Rs 4 cr on Fri, Rs 5.80 cr on Sat, Rs 6.75 cr on Sun, Rs 2.85 on Mon, Rs 2.45 cr on Tue, Rs 2.25 cr on Wed, Rs 2 on Thu.


Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is now fast heading towards Rs 100 crore mark at the Indian Box Office. With four new films like Issaq, Luv U Soniyo, Nasha and Bajatey Raho hit the marque this Friday, one cannot stop asking, will it surpass Rs 100 crore mark in the third week? Trade experts say yes. They say that the Farhan Akhtar starrer has got tax exemption from state governments like Delhi, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Goa, while Karnataka is considering the tax break. This move will surely help the movie to achieve this magical figure.
