Box Office: Attacks of 26/11, IMAM overseas collection

New Hindi releases The Attacks of 26/11 and I, Me Aur Main have received poor response at the overseas Box Office in their first weekend. Both the movies have landed in the second and third spots, respectively, while the last week's release Kai Po Che topped the collection chart in major markets like USA and UK. Overall, Kai Po Che has been the front runner in the international business centres.

The Attacks of 26/11 has landed in the second spot in the business chart in UK and USA. The movie has collected Rs 25.33 lakhs (£30,692) from 23 screens in UK and Rs 87.57 lakhs ($1,59,619) from 51 screens in the USA Box Office in its opening weekend. It has raked in Rs 1.36 lakhs (FJD 4,421) from 2 screens at the Fiji Box Office. It did not release in other main markets like UAE, Australia and New Zealand.

Whereas I, Me Aur Main has graced third spot at the collection chart in USA and UK, while it topped the chart in Australia. In its opening weekend, the film has collected Rs 4.82 lakhs (£5,840) from 9 screens in UK, Rs 29.65 lakhs ($54,043) from 42 screens in USA and Rs 13.46 lakhs (A$24,114) from 14 screens in the Australia Box Office. But it did not release in other markets like UAE, Fiji and New Zealand.

However, The Attacks of 26/11 and I, Me Aur Main did not have any big competitor from regional film industry. In the first weekend, Ram Gopal Varma-directed film has collected Rs 1.14 crores, while the John Abraham starrer earned Rs 47.93 lakhs at the international Box Office.
