Shahrukh's Chennai Express Beats 3 Idiots at Box Office On Preview Day

Shahrukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer Chennai Express has set a record at the domestic box office by collecting a whooping amount of Rs 6.75 crores from its paid previews (Thursday, August 9). It has beaten the previous records of 3 Idiots which made Rs 2.75 crores on its preview day.

Other films that did well at the Box Office on the preview day include Kites (earned Rs 1.75 crores), Aamir Khan-Asin starrer Ghajini (Rs 1.65 crores), Jism 2 (made Rs 1.40 crores) and Farhan Akhtar's Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (collected Rs 1.05 crores at the Box Office).

Well, as of now, it's too early to predict as only time will decide the fate of Rohit Shetty's comic caper Chennai Express. Anyways, if we were to go with the record of the preview day collection of the film, we can say that the film is a sure shot hit!
