Bollywood
movie
Mahabharat
released
in
theatres
this
Friday,
but
it
did
not
affect
the
collection
of
Aditya
Chopra's
latest
production
Dhoom
3.
Having
rocked
the
viewers
in
the
first
week,
the
action
thriller
featuring
Aamir
Khan
and
Katrina
Kaif
in
negative
roles,
has
once
again
kept
the
bells
ringing
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
second
weekend.
In
just
10
days,
the
film
has
smashed
the
life-time
business
of
Ek
Tha
Tiger
and
3
Idiots.
It
has
become
the
third
all
time
highest
grosser
Hindi
flick.
When
compared
to
its
opening
day
collection,
Dhoom
3
witnessed
more
than
65%
drop
in
its
business
on
its
second
Friday.
The
movie,
which
became
first
choice
for
many
film
goers,
showed
improvements
in
its
business
on
Saturday
and
Sunday.
It
has
collected
Rs
35.14
crores
nett
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
second
weekend.
Its
breakup
is
Rs
10.10
cr
on
Fri,
Rs
12.04
cr
on
Sat
and
Rs
13
cr
on
Sun.
Dhoom
3
has
collected
a
total
of
Rs
224.12
crores
nett
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
10
days.
Ek
Tha
Tiger
and
3
Idiots
had
collected
Rs
199.50
crores
and
202
crores
nett
respectively
in
the
domestic
market
in
their
life
time.
Now,
the
Vijaya
Krishna
Ancharya-directed
movie
has
smashed
both
these
records
in
nine
days.
But
Dhoom
3
has
just
missed
to
beat
the
life
time
collection
record
of
Chennai
Express,
which
had
raked
in
Rs
227
croress
nett.
Trade
experts
predict
that
the
Aamir
Khan
starrer
will
definitely
beat
this
record
on
its
11th
day
and
become
the
second
all-time
highest
grosser.
By
the
end
of
second
week,
the
film
is
also
expected
to
top
the
list
by
beating
Krrish
3,
which
has
collected
Rs
244.5
crores
nett
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
its
life
time.
