Hrithik's Krrish 3 Gets Earth-Shattering Opening At Box Office

Hrithik Roshan's highly-anticipated movie Krrish 3 starring Kangna Ranaut and Priyanka Chopra with him, has got an earth-shattering opening at the Indian Box Office. Released in huge number of theatres, the Rakesh Roshan-directed film will break the first day collection record of Shahrukh Khan's Blockbuster Chennai Express. It is sure to become the biggest opener for Hrithik, beating the record of his last outing Agneepath.

Krrish 3, which has been creating positive buzz for more than one year, has huge amount of advance ticket booking for the first day. With this, the movie has registered 85% to 100% occupancy in the morning and matinee shows. Trade expert Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Krrish3 opening shows occupancies at plexes is 85%+. At several places 100%. Single screens have started on 100% note. It's a HURRICANE!"

Trade analyst Komal Nahta tweeted, "The pre-Diwali period is always considered dull by the industry. But an event film like 'Krrish 3' can change the mindset." He added, "Krrish 3 oven-fresh news: Nagpur opening great:Sangam Cinema 16636;Inox Poonam 27838;Inox Jaswant 16786;Cinemax 1st show 37229, 2nd show 31548. 'Krrish 3' opening in Bihar circuit crazy. Most cinemas report, all shows full in advance.Such madness rarely seen.And this is pre-Diwali!"

Hrithik's last outing Agneepath had collected Rs 23 crores nett at the Indian Box Office on its opening day. Trade experts feel that Krrish 3 will easily beat this record. Meanwhile, Chennai Express, which has been all time biggest opener, has raked in Rs 33.12 crores from 3,500 screens in the domestic market on its first day. Trade expert opine that the Hrithik Roshan starrer, which has released in 4,000 screens, will also beat the record the Shahrukh Khan starrer Chennai Express.
