Mumbai:
Kai
Po
Che
(KPC),
which
had
hit
the
screens
on
Feb
22,
has
done
wonderful
collection
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
second
week,
beating
new
releases
like
I,
Me
Aur
Main
and
The
Attacks
Of
26/11.
The
Abhishek
Kapoor-directed
flick
starring
newcomers
has
once
again
topped
the
domestic
business
chart,
while
new
movies
landed
in
second
and
third
spots,
respectively.
But
it
has
failed
to
cross
Rs
50
crore
mark.
The
Attacks
of
26/11
and
I,
Me
Aur
Main
were
the
most-hyped
movies
and
they
received
positive
reviews
from
film
critics,
but
film
goers
did
not
show
keen
interest
in
watching
them.
Rather
Kai
Po
Che
became
first
choice
for
many
viewers.
This
helped
Kai
Po
Che
to
maintain
rock-steady
at
the
Box
Office
in
the
second
week.
Kai
Po
Che,
which
had
raked
in
Rs
29.10
crores
nett
in
first
week,
registered
better
occupancy
than
new
releases
at
multiplexes
across
the
country
in
the
second
week.
The
film
collected
approximately
Rs
11.25
crores
nett
at
the
domestic
Box
Office
in
the
second
weekend,
taking
its
10-day
total
to
Rs
40.75
crores
nett.
Its
breakup
is
Rs
3
cr
on
Fri,
Rs
3.75
cr
on
Sat
and
Rs
4.5
cr
on
Sun.
The
Sushant
Singh
Rajput
and
Raj
Kumar
Yadav
starrer
also
did
very
good
business
on
weekdays.
Kai
Po
Che
collected
another
Rs
4.77
crores,
taking
its
14-day
domestic
total
to
Rs
45.52
crores
nett,
which
is
a
very
good
collection
for
a
newcomers'
movie.
It
is
likely
to
cross
Rs
50
crore
mark
in
the
desi
collection
centres
in
the
third
weekend.
