Mumbai:
Hindi
movie
Kai
Po
Che
(KPC),
which
has
done
superb
collection
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
its
opening
weekend,
has
continued
to
rock
the
ticket
windows
on
the
weekdays
too.
Despite
reduced
ticket
rates,
the
Sushant
Singh
Rajput
and
Raj
Kumar
Yadav
starrer
has
done
superb
business
at
domestic
collection
centres
on
Monday
and
Tuesday.
Usually
occupancy
of
any
movie
goes
down
on
weekday
and
this
is
due
to
busy
day
for
school,
colleges
and
offices.
But
the
performance
of
Kai
Po
Che
is
an
exception
to
this
rule.
The
movie
has
registered
very
good
amount
of
occupancy
on
Monday
and
its
footfalls
were
almost
equal
to
that
of
its
opening
day.
Kai
Po
Che
did
not
show
much
decline
in
its
business
on
Tuesday
too.
The
film
has
fetched
very
good
figures
at
the
domestic
Box
Office.
The
movie,
which
had
collected
Rs
18.10
crores
nett
in
the
first
weekend,
has
raked
in
Rs
3.25
cr
on
Mon
and
Rs
3
cr
on
Tue.
Now,
its
five-day
domestic
total
stands
at
Rs
24.35
crores
nett.
However,
two
days
left
for
Kai
Po
Che
to
conclude
its
first
week.
Trade
analyst
predicts
that
the
movie
would
surpass
Rs
30
crores
mark
at
the
domestic
Box
Office
in
its
opening
week.
It
is
going
to
be
the
next
biggest
grosser
movie
of
newbies
after
Student
of
the
Year,
which
had
raked
in
Rs
48
crores
at
the
domestic
Box
Office
in
the
first
week.
