Krrish 3 (14 Days) Second Week Collection At Box Office

Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 3 has maintained a good pace at the ticket counters and has done record-breaking collection at the Indian Box Office in the second week. Its business in the second week is much better than the first week collection of many biggies' movies of the year 2013. But the Rakesh Roshan-directed movie has just missed to smash the all time collection record of Shahrukh Khan's Chennai Express.

Considering its business on first Thursday, Krrish 3 dropped considerably on its second Friday, but it picked up over the weekend. The film also maintained rock-steady on weekdays. The film has raked in Rs 39.74 crores in its second weekend and Rs 19.74 crores on weekdays at the Indian Box Office. Its breakup is Rs 9.16 cr on Fri, Rs 14.23 cr on Sat, Rs 16.35 cr on Sun, Rs 5.47 cr on Mon, Rs 5.04 cr on Tue, Rs 4.46 cr on Wed and Rs 4.77 cr on Thu.


In 2013, not many big-budget movies have crossed Rs 50 crore mark at the Indian Box Office in their first week. Whereas, Krrish 3 has done it and it is a record in the Hindi Cinema. The film has collected Rs 59.48 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in the second week. It has beaten the record of Chennai Express (Rs 44.1 crores) and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (Rs 47.1 crores), which were the first and second highest grosser movies of 2013.

The 14-day domestic total of Krrish 3 has reached Rs 226 crores nett. Considering the trends in its second weekend, trade experts had predicted that the Hrithik Roshan starrer would smash the lifetime collection record of Chennai Express, which has been all time highest grosser with its collection - Rs 227.13 crores nett, but it has fallen short of Rs 1.13 crore. It will surely do it on its third Friday.
