Mumbai:
Hollywood
movies
have
been
getting
very
good
opening
at
the
Indian
Box
Office.
Recently,
it
was
Fast
and
Furious
6,
which
had
topped
the
collection
chart,
beating
Bollywood
movies.
Now,
it
is
the
turn
of
the
much-awaited
film
Man
Of
Steel
(MOS),
which
has
not
only
got
good
start,
but
also
has
overtaken
the
new
Hindi
releases
like
Fukrey
and
Ankur
Arora
Murder
Case
(AAMC).
Zack
Snyder-directed
Man
Of
Steel
is
a
sic-fi
superhero
film
and
its
promo
videos
and
posters
have
created
lot
of
curiosity
among
the
film
goers
in
India.
Its
makers
have
had
massive
publicity
for
it.
Besides
this,
the
movie
has
garnered
rave
reviews
from
international
film
critics,
who
have
given
3
to
4
rating
out
of
5.
All
these
aspects
enabled
the
movie
to
register
a
good
amount
of
advance
ticket
booking
in
the
country.
Fitting
to
its
pre-release
hype,
Man
Of
Steel
has
received
a
thunderous
opening
at
the
Indian
Box
Office.
The
movie
registered
60%
to
65%
occupancy
in
the
morning
and
matinee
shows
in
the
country
on
its
opening
day.
Although
its
occupancy
is
not
equal
to
that
of
Fast
and
Furious
6,
it
is
far
better
than
many
big
Bollywood
releases
of
the
year
2013.
It
is
expected
to
show
big
jump
over
the
weekend.
Whereas
Fukrey
and
Ankur
Arora
Murder
Case
are
much-hyped
and
highly-awaited
Hindi
movies.
They
have
got
a
poor
start
at
the
domestic
Box
Office.
They
have
registered
an
average
of
15%
to
20%
occupancy
in
the
morning
and
matinee
shows
in
the
country
on
their
opening
day.
Both
have
garnered
rave
reviews
from
film
critics,
who
have
given
them
generous
rating.
Trade
experts
feel
that
they
will
have
a
big
leap
on
Saturday
and
Sunday.
