Four
new
movies
Mickey
Virus
(MV),
Bull
Bulbul
Bandook,
Ishk
Actually
and
Super
Se
Upar,
which
belong
to
different
genres,
have
hit
the
screens
on
October
25.
Of
them,
Mickey
Virus
has
got
decent
response,
while
the
rest
exhausted
within
their
opening
weekend.
Although
its
business
is
not
upto
the
expected
mark,
the
Manish
Paul
and
Elli
Avram
starrer
has
topped
the
weekend-domestic-business
chart.
Of
the
four
movies,
Mickey
Virus
is
much-hyped
and
highly-promoted
movie.
The
film
has
released
in
1,000
screen,
which
is
more
than
other
new
releases.
So,
it
had
slightly
better
response
on
its
opening
day.
The
film
registered
10%
to
15%
occupancy
in
the
morning
and
matinee
shows
and
it
was
expected
to
show
improvements
in
the
evening/night
shows.
Its
business
improved,
but
not
upto
the
expected
level.
Mickey
Virus
got
positive
reviews
from
film
critics,
who
liked
its
engrossing
plot.
The
Manish
Paul
and
Elli
Avram
starrer
managed
to
attract
footfalls,
but
the
growth
was
not
in
sync
with
its
merits
over
on
Saturday
and
Sunday.
The
movie
has
collected
Rs
4.75
crores
nett
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
first
weekend.
Its
breakup
is
Rs
1.35
cr
on
Fri,
Rs
1.60
cr
on
Sat
and
Rs
1.80
cr
on
Sun.
Produced
by
Arun
and
Vivek
Rangachari,
Mickey
Virus
has
been
made
with
a
budget
of
Rs
11
crores
nett.
If
it
has
to
recover
its
production
cost,
the
movie
has
to
struggle
lot
on
the
weekdays.
Hrithik
Roshan's
highly-awaited
film
Krrish
3
is
releasing
on
November
1.
Trade
experts
feel
that
the
movie
would
become
a
big
road-block
for
the
Saurabh
Varma-directed
film.
