Murder 3, Special 26, ABCD, JKLS collection at Box Office

Mumbai: Vikram Bhatt's latest production Murder 3 starring Randeep Hooda and Aditi Rao Hydari in leads, has done an average collection at the Indian Box Office in the first weekend. It has topped the business chart. Whereas last week's releases Special 26 and ABCD - Any Body Can Dance have continued to do well and landed in second and third spots, while another new release Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story (JKLS) graced fourth position.

Murder 3 is the third installment in the Murder series. Since its previous movies were big hits, the latest film was also expected to become a big money spinner. But the Vikram Bhatt directed flick opened to average response and it did not show big growth on Saturday and Sunday. The film has collected Rs 13.31 crores nett at the domestic Box Office in the first weekend. Its breakup is Rs 4.52 cr on Fri, Rs 4.01 cr on Sat and Rs 4.78 cr on Sun.

Whereas old release Special 26 starring Akshay Kumar and Kajal Agarwal in leads, has continued to keep the bells ringing at the cash counters. The movie has maintained steady figures at multiplexes of urban centres. In the second weekend, it has collected Rs 13 crores nett at the domestic Box Office, taking its 10-day total to Rs 57 crores nett.

Another old release ABCD - Any Body Can Dance starring Prabhu Deva, Kay Kay Menon and Ganesh Acharya in leads, has also continued to rock the viewers. In the second weekend, the dance 3D film has collected Rs 9 crores at the domestic Box Office, taking 10-day total to Rs 41 crores nett.

However, Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story starring Vivek Oberoi and Neha Sharma opened to poor houses on its first day. The movie got negative reviews and it did not show improvement over the weekend. It has fetched negligible numbers at the Indian Box Office in the first weekend.
