Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara 1st day Collection At Box Office

Director Milan Luthria's Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara (OUATIMD) has opened to an overwhelming response at the Indian Box Office on its first day. Despite facing tough competition from the last week release Chennai Express, the Akshay Kumar, Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha starrer has done a superb business in the domestic market in a limited number of screens on the Independence day holiday.

Trade experts had predicted that Chennai Express, which is having a dream run at the ticket counters, would take a toll on the business of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara on its opening day. But the gangster crime flick, which released in 2,000 screens on August 15, proved their calculation wrong.

Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara received superb response with its occupancy ranging between 75% and 90% on its opening day. The film ran to packed houses in many centres across the country. It has collected approximately Rs 11.25 crores nett at the Indian Box Office on the first day of its release. Considering its limited release, the first day business of the film is very good, feel trade experts.
