Phata Poster Nikla Hero 4 Days Collection At Overseas Box Office

Like in domestic market, Phata Poster Nikla Hero has also made a decent business at the Overseas Box Office in the first weekend. The Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D'Cruz starrer has topped the business chart in all key international markets. But when compared to the collection of Shahid's previous releases Mausam (2011) and Teri Meri Kahaani (2012), its performance seems to be average in all foreign countries.

Shahid Kapoor has huge fan following in the UK, where his last releases Mausam and Teri Meri Kahaani had collected £1,88,488 and £1,90,130, respectively in the first weekend. Whereas, his latest outing has underperformed there. Phata Poster Nikla Hero has collected £79,012 (Rs 79.36 lakhs) from 51 screens at the UK Box Office in the first weekend.

In their opening weekend, Mausam and Teri Meri Kahaani had collected $4,59,024 and $4,05,926, respectively in America, where the performance of Phata Poster Nikla Hero not even got 60% of Shahid's last releases. The Shahid and Ileana starrer has collected $2,60,188 (Rs 1.63 crores) at the USA Box Office in the first weekend.

Phata Poster Nikla Hero has also failed to beat the record of Shahid's previous movies in other foreign countries too. The film has collected AED 17,90,000 (Rs 3.05 crores) in the UAE, A$26,578 (Rs 15.64 lakhs) in Australia, NZ$21,450 (Rs 11.21 lakhs) in New Zealand and FJD 12,790 (Rs 4.30 lakhs) at the Fiji Box Office in the first weekend.

However, collections of Mausam and Teri Meri Kahaani had crossed $1.5 million at the International Box Office in their opening weekends. Whereas Phata Poster Nikla Hero has failed to beat this record. The movie has collected $1.2 million (Rs 7.51 crores) at the Overseas Box Office in the first weekend.
