R... Rajkumar First Weekend Collection At Overseas Box Office

Shahid Kapoor's latest outing R... Rajkumar, which had a very good time in domestic market, has received an average response at the overseas Box Office in the first weekend. Although it has fared very well in the UAE, the overall performance of the Prabhu Deva-directed film is poorer than the business of Shahid's previous releases like Phata Poster Nikla Hero, Mausam and Teri Meri Kahaani in international markets.

R... Rajkumar has collected approximately Rs 1.10 crores nett ($180,000) from 90 screens at the USA Box Office in its first weekend. The movie has raked in Rs 3.82 crores nett (AED 23,00,000) at the UAE Box Office in the opening weekend. It has earned Rs 73.92 lakhs (£73,974) from 53 screens in the UK, Rs 13.24 lakhs (A$23,889) from 12 screens in Australia and Rs 5.90 lakhs (NZ$11,703) from 7 screens at the New Zealand Box Office in three days.

Shahid Kapoor's previous releases have fared better in the international market. While the first weekend collections of Mausam and Teri Meri Kahaani had crossed $1.5 million, his last outing Phata Poster Nikla Hero has collected $1.2 million (Rs 7.51 crores) at the overseas Box Office in the first weekend. Whereas, his latest movie has failed to cross even one million mark. R... Rajkumar has collected approximately $950,000 (Rs 5.79 crores nett) at the international Box Office in its opening weekend.
