Race 2 second weekend collection at overseas Box Office

Mumbai: Hindi movie Race 2 has continued to keep the bells ringing at the overseas Box Office in the second week. The Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham and Anil Kapoor starrer has once again topped the international collection chart in the second weekend, while Vishwaroopam landed in the second place. The Abbas-Mastan-directed flick remained unaffected by new regional releases like David, Kadal, Kadali and Ongole Gitta.

Race 2, which was released in 76 screens in the UK in the first week, managed to retain 60 screens in the country in the second week. The film has topped the business chart by collecting £1,54,205 at the UK Box Office in the second weekend. Its 11-day total stands at Rs 5.90 crores (£7,06,159) in the country.

The action thriller, which was released in 153 screens in America in the first week, retained 139 screens in the country in the second week. Race 2 has topped the business chart again by collecting $2,85,233 at the UK Box Office in the second weekend. Its 11-day total stands at Rs 7.31 crores ($13,71,815) there.

Race 2 has also done very good collection and topped the business chart in other foreign countries like Australia and New Zealand. In the second weekend, the movie has collected A$62,185 from 19 screens at the Australia Box Office, taking its total to Rs 2.05 crores (A$3,69,038). It has raked in NZ$20,577 from 9 screens at the New Zealand Box Office, taking its total to Rs 59.19 lakhs (NZ$1,31,558).

However, Race 2, which had collected Rs 22.61 crores nett in the first week, has raked in another Rs 6.1 crores nett at the international Box Office in the second weekend. Now, its overseas total stands at Rs 28.71 crores ($5.4 million). With this, it has become the biggest hit in the international market in the year 2013.
