Box Office: Race 2, Vishwaroopam, David weekdays collection

Bollywood movie Race 2 has continued to keep the bells ringing at the Indian Box Office on the weekdays. The Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham and Anil Kapoor starrer is leading the race at the domestic collection centres on Monday and Tuesday, pushing down the new big releases like Kamal Hassan's Vishwaroop and Vikram's David to second and third places, respectively.

Race 2 had collected Rs 15.5 crores nett at the domestic Box Office in the second weekend. The Abbas-Mastan-directed showed 29% dip in its business on Monday, when compared to its second Friday collection. It has collected Rs 2.5 cr on Mon and Rs 2 cr on Tue, taking its 12 day total to Rs 96.1 crores nett. It is expected to surpass Rs 100 crore mark at the desi collection centres in the second week.

Whereas new release Vishwaroop, which is the dubbed version of Kamal Hassan's Vishwaroopam, had collected Rs 7.56 crores at the domestic Box Office in the first weekend. The movie showed 36% drop in its collection on Monday. It has raked in Rs 1.19 cr on Mon and Rs 98 lakhs at the desi market, taking its five-day-total to Rs 9.83 crores nett.

Vikram and Neil Nitin Mukesh starrer David had collected Rs 2.41 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in the first weekend. The movie has showed 45%+ decrease in its collection on Monday. It has grossed Rs 36 lakhs on Mon and 31 lakhs on Tue, taking its five-day domestic total to Rs 3.08 crores nett.
