Rangrezz first weekend collection at overseas Box Office

Mumbai: Hindi movie Rangrezz starring Jackky Bhagnani and Priya Anand in leads has received very poor response at the international collection centres. The tale of friendship has done even worse performance than Telugu movie Swamy Ra Ra. The Naadodigal remake has collected Rs 38.72 lakhs at the overeas Box Office in its opening weekend.

Rangrezz was released in a limited number of screens in UK, USA and UAE, while it did not release in other foreign countries like Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. Its business in UK and USA is very poor and it has turned out to be a fiasco in these countries. Whereas its collection in UAE is slightly better when compared to other two countries.

The Jackky Bhagnani and Priya Anand starrer has collected Rs 6.58 lakhs (£7,941) from 16 screens at the UK and Rs 2.35 lakhs ($4,318) from 11 screens at the USA Box Office in its opening weekend. Rangrezz has raked in Rs 29.79 lakhs ($55,000) at the UAE Box Office in its first weekend.

However, Rangrezz, which has been produced with a handsome budget has failed to cross even Rs 50 crore mark at the international Box Office in the first weekend. Trade analyst feel that the movie may not be able to surpass this mark in seven days too. It should be seen how it will perform on weekdays.
