Shahrukh's Chennai Express 13 Days Collection At Box Office

Director Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express is simply unstoppable! The Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer has continued to make very good collection at the Indian Box Office in the second week. In 12 days, the film has become third all time highest grosser, beating the record of Ranbir Kapoor's latest release Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. It is set to cross Rs 200 crore mark today (August 22).

Undeterred by Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara, Chennai Express continued its dream run at the Indian Box Office in the second week. The action comedy entertainer, which raked in Rs 25+ crores in the second weekend, has overtaken the Akshay-Imran-Sonakshi starrer on the weekdays. It has added Rs 15.37 crores to its 13-day total Rs 197.36 crores nett. Its breakup is Rs 6.50 cr on Fri, Rs 8.51 cr on Sat, Rs 10.22 cr on Sun, Rs 3.80 cr on Mon, Rs 7.06 cr on Tue and Rs 4.51 cr on Wed.

As per early trends, Chennai Express is expected to collected Rs 3+ crores nett at the Indian Box Office on Thursday, taking its two week total to beyond Rs 200 crores. It will also become the second all time highest grosser movie, beating Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger, which has collected Rs 199 crore in its life time. It is expected to smash the record of Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots, which is the all time highest grosser with its life time business Rs 202 crores nett.
