the
collection
chart
in
India,
beating
another
new
release
Bombay
Talkies.
The
John
Abraham,
Anil
and
Tusshar
Kapoor
starrer
has
done
superb
business
at
the
domestic
Box
Office
in
the
first
week,
but
it
has
failed
to
cross
Rs
50
crore
mark
in
7
days
as
predicted
by
the
Bollywood
trade
analysts.
Shootout
At
Wadala
is
an
action
crime
thriller
and
one
of
the
most-hyped
Hindi
movies
of
2013.
Trade
analyst
had
predicted
that
it
might
not
do
well
in
areas
other
than
Mumbai
and
Maharashtra.
For
their
surprise,
the
film
opened
to
wonderful
response
at
single
screens
in
North
Indian
areas
like
Jaipur,
Ahmadabad,
Pune,
Indore,
parts
of
Delhi,
and
UP.
On
its
opening
day,
Shootout
At
Wadala
registered
an
average
of
60%
to
70%
occupancy
at
single
screens
across
the
country,
while
it
had
an
average
occupancy
in
multiplexes.
The
movie
was
expected
to
have
a
big
jump
on
Saturday,
but
it
dropped
down
and
did
not
witness
a
big
jump
on
Sunday
also.
The
film
collected
Rs
30.70
crores
nett
at
the
domestic
Box
Office
in
the
first
weekend.
Shootout
At
Wadala
maintained
rock-steady
on
the
weekdays.
The
movie
witnessed
a
drop
of
60%
on
Monday
and
its
business
continued
to
dip
on
the
following
days.
The
action-crime
drama
has
collected
Rs
45.86
crores
nett
at
the
desi
Box
Office
in
the
first
week.
Its
breakup
is
Rs
10.10
cr
on
