Two
much-hyped
and
highly-awaited
multi-starrer
Hindi
movies
like
Shootout
At
Wadala
(SAW)
and
Bombay
Talkies
have
hit
the
large
number
of
screens
this
Friday.
It
is
described
as
a
clash
between
titans
at
the
Indian
Box
Office.
Among
the
two,
the
former
is
leading
the
race
at
the
ticket
counters,
while
the
latter
landed
in
the
second
place.
Trade
analysts
describe
that
it
is
a
record
breaking
opening
for
Shootout
At
Wadala.
Usually,
the
Mumbai-centric
gangster
films
will
have
a
better
start
in
Mumbai
and
other
parts
of
Maharashtra,
when
compared
to
other
circuits.
Shootout
At
Wadala,
which
revolves
around
the
first-ever
registered
encounter
by
Mumbai
police,
is
an
exception
to
this
rule.
It
has
got
a
terrific
start
outside
Maharashtra.
In
its
morning
shows,
Shootout
At
Wadala
has
registered
60%
to
70%
occupancy
in
many
areas
like
UP,
Ahmadabad,
Pune,
Indore,
Jaipur
and
other
places
in
the
morning
and
matinee
shows.
Trade
experts
call
it
one
of
the
best
starts
of
the
year
and
its
business
is
expected
to
go
upwards
further
in
the
evening
shows.
The
film,
which
has
an
extensive
release,
is
expected
to
pack
a
solid
punch
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
on
the
first
day.
Bombay
Talkies,
which
stars
Randeep
Hooda,
Nawazuddin
Siddiqui
and
Rani
Mukherjee
in
leads,
hit
a
limited
screens
across
the
country.
The
film
has
a
lukewarm
start
at
the
domestic
Box
Office
in
the
morning
and
matinee
shows.
But
the
movie
has
received
positive
talks
from
film
critics
and
a
good
word
of
mouth
is
going
viral
on
the
social
blogging
sites.
The
business
is
expected
to
grow
considerably
in
evening/night
shows.
