Special 26, ABCD 4 days collection at overseas Box Office

Mumbai: Hindi films Special 26 and ABCD - Any Body Can Dance have received opening at the overseas Box Office. In the first weekend, the Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal starrer has topped the international collection chart, while Prabhu Deva and Ganesh Acharya starrer dance 3D film graced the second position. Unlike in India, the heist film has shown remarkable growth in foreign countries like USA, UK, UAE, Australia and New Zealand.

Special 26 has got superb opening at the UK Box Office, while ABCD - Any Body Can Dance did not release in the country. The heist film has topped the UK collection chart by collecting Rs 90.81 lakhs (£1,07,520) from 46 screens, while old release Race 2 landed in the second place with its third weekend collection £47,751 from 26 screens. The Saif Ali Khan starrer has raked in a total of Rs 6.96 crores (£8,23,701) at the UK Box Office in 18 days.

The Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal starrer has also got good opening in America, but it has landed in the second place, while Telugu movie Mirchi (Rs 2.54 crores) topped the USA business chart. In the first weekend, Special 26 has collected Rs 2.49 crores ($4,62,262) from 85 screens at USA Box Office. Whereas ABCD - Any Body Can Dance has graced the third position with its collection Rs 51.29 lakhs ($95,236) from 25 screens in the country in its opening weekend.

Special 26 has topped the UAE collection chart, while ABCD - Any Body Can Dance landed in the second place. In their opening weekend, the Akshay Kumar starrer film has collected Rs 2.13 crores ($3,95,000) at the UAE Box Office, while the Prabhu Deva starrer raked in Rs 1.29 crores ($2,40,000).

Special 26 has also topped the business chart in other foreign countries like Australia and New Zealand, while ABCD - Any Body Can Dance graced second position there. In the first weekend, the heist drama has collected Rs 47.98 lakhs (A$86,777 from 11 screens) and Rs 15.64 lakhs (NZ$34,929 from 8 screens) at the Australia and New Zealand Box Office, while the dance 3D movie raked in Rs 18.40 lakhs (A$33,295 from 14 screens) and Rs 4.95 lakhs (NZ$11,059 from 3 screens, respectively there.

In its opening weekend, Special 26 has raked in Rs 6.65 lakhs (FJD 21,777) from 2 screens at the Fiji Box Office, where ABCD - Any Body Can Dance did not release. However, Special 26 has collected Rs 6.28 crores nett at the international Box Office in the first weekend, while ABCD raked in Rs 2.03 crores nett.
