Hindi
movie
Table
No
21
starring
Paresh
Rawal,
Rajeev
Khandelwal
and
Tena
Desae
in
leads,
has
done
an
average
collection
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
first
weekend.
The
Aditya
Datt
directed
film
has
landed
in
the
second
place
in
the
business
chart
beating
other
new
releases
like
Dehraadun
Diary,
Dekha
Jo
Pehli
Baar,
Meri
Shadi
Karao
and
Rajdhani
Express.
It
has
also
affected
the
business
of
Salman
Khan's
Dabangg
2.
Table
No
21
was
a
much-awaited
movie
and
the
makers
of
the
film
have
done
massive
promotions
for
it.
The
promos
of
the
film
had
created
lot
of
curiosity
among
the
film
goers.
But
along
with
other
new
releases,
the
movie
registered
a
very
poor
occupancy
in
the
morning
show
on
the
first
day.
While
the
response
for
others
remained
the
same,
the
Paresh
Rawal
starrer
showed
little
improvement
in
later
shows.
The
business
of
Table
No
21
was
expected
to
go
up
over
the
weekend.
Table
No
21
witnessed
improvement
in
its
collection
in
South
India,
but
it
faced
severe
setback
due
to
the
cold
weather
in
the
North.
The
movie
has
collected
a
total
of
Rs
5.84
crores
at
the
domestic
Box
Office
in
the
first
weekend.
Its
breakup
is
Rs
1.55
cr
on
Fri,
Rs
2.04
cr
on
Sat
and
Rs
2.25
cr
on
Sun.
However,
Dehraadun
Diary,
Dekha
Jo
Pehli
Baar,
Meri
Shadi
Karao
and
Rajdhani
Express
opened
to
poor
response
and
they
did
not
show
any
improvement
in
their
business
over
the
weekend.
With
their
negligible
amount
of
collection
they
have
proved
to
be
flop
shows
at
the
Box
Office
in
the
opening
weekend.
