Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani 2nd week collection at Box Office

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (YJHD), which had surpassed Rs 100 crore mark at the Indian Box Office in the first week, has scored close to another half century domestic business centres in the second week. The movie has topped the collection chart, beating the new release Yamla Pagla Deewana 2. Now, it is fast heading towards Rs 200 crore mark.

Despite the release of Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani continued to rock at the domestic Box Office on its second Friday. Its business grew considerably on Saturday and Sunday with the movie cashing in on the negative reviews of the new release. In the second weekend, the film added Rs 28.75 crores nett to its 10-day Indian total Rs 136.36 cr nett. Its breakup is Rs 7 cr on Fri, Rs 10.25 cr on Sat and Rs 11.50 cr on Sun.

Surprisingly, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani got very good response and kept the bells ringing at the Box Office on weekdays too. Its second Monday collection was much bigger than the first day figures of many big Bollywood releases. The Ranbir and Deepika starrer has collected Rs 18.35 crores nett at the domestic Box Office on the weekdays. Its breakup is Rs 5.5 cr on Mon, Rs 4.75 cr on Tue, Rs 4.25 cr on Wed and Rs 3.85 cr on Thu.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani had collected Rs 107.61 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in the first week. Continuing its roaring business in the second week, the Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji's second combo movie has added Rs 47.1 crores to its 14-day domestic total Rs 154.71 crores. Its second week business is stupendous and many big Bollywood hits will not be able to reach this mark on their opening week.
