Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani third week collection at Box Office

Mumbai: Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has maintained rock-steady status at the Indian Box Office in the third week. The Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer remained unaffected by the new releases like Fukrey and Ankur Arora Murder Case. Beating them, the film has landed in the second place, Hollywood movie Man Of Steel topped the domestic collection chart. It has surpassed Rs 175 crore mark in 21 days.

Despite the release of new movies, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani once again became the first choice for many viewers in the third week. In the third weekend, the movie once again did superb business and added Rs 13.20 crores to its 17-day domestic total Rs 168.48 crores nett. Its breakup is Rs 3.25 cr on Fri, Rs 4.30 cr on Sat and Rs 5.65 cr on Sun.

On weekdays also, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani held well in the domestic business centres and collected Rs 8.61 crores. The Karan Johar-Ayan Mukerji's second combo movie has raked in approximately Rs 21.81 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in its third week. With this, its 21-day collection stands at Rs 177.09 crores nett.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is now fast heading towards Rs 200 crore mark in the domestic market. The film is expected to break the all time records of Ek Tha Tiger (Rs 199 crores) and 3 Idiots (Rs 202 crores). Although new films like Raanjhanaa and Shortcut Romeo have hit the screens, as per early trends, the movie is still dominating the Box Office. It is sure to come closer to Rs 200 crore mark in fourth week.
