Mumbai:
Director
Ayan
Mukerji's
Yeh
Jawaani
Hai
Deewani
(YJHD),
which
released
in
3,000+
screens
on
May
31,
is
still
going
very
strong
at
the
Indian
Box
Office.
Considering
its
pace
at
ticket
windows
on
weekdays,
trade
experts
feel
that
the
Ranbir
Kapoor
and
Deepika
Padukone
starrer
will
definitely
cross
Rs
100
crore
market
in
the
domestic
market
and
become
the
second
movie
to
achieve
this
magic
figure
in
such
a
short
time.
Yeh
Jawaani
Hai
Deewani
took
the
Box
Office
by
storm
in
its
opening
weekend
with
its
3-day
collection
reaching
Rs
62.11
crores
nett
in
the
domestic
business
centres.
With
this,
the
movie
smashed
several
benchmarks
and
set
its
own
new
records
like
biggest
opener
of
the
year
2013,
biggest
opener
in
Ranbir-Deepika's
career,
highest
grosser
in
first
weekend
in
the
year,
biggest
opener
on
non-holiday
and
a
few
others.
As
usual,
the
business
of
Yeh
Jawaani
Hai
Deewani
dropped
by
40%
on
Monday.
But
its
collection
is
much
better
than
a
few
Blockbusters
and
the
first
day
collection
of
many
biggies'
films.
When
compared
to
Monday,
the
movie
dipped
by
12%
on
Tuesday.
It
has
collected
Rs
13
cr
on
Mon
and
Rs
12
cr
on
Tue
at
the
Indian
Box
Office,
taking
its
five-day
total
collection
to
Rs
87.11
crores
nett.
Now,
Yeh
Jawaani
Hai
Deewani
needs
Rs
12.89
crores
to
surpass
Rs
100
crore
mark
in
the
domestic
market.
The
movie
has
still
two
days
to
conclude
the
first
week
at
the
Box
Office.
Even
if
it
runs
at
the
current
pace,
the
film
will
mint
another
Rs
20
crores
by
the
end
of
its
opening
week.
So
it
would
definitely
cross
the
mark
in
seven
days
and
become
the
second
movie
after
Ek
Tha
Tiger,
which
had
reached
this
magical
figure
in
five
days.
