2 States (14 Days) Second Week Collection At Box Office

Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt statter Hindi film 2 States has once again worked out wonders at the Indian Box Office in the second week. For the second time, the movie has made superb collection and topped the domestic business chart, pushing down the new Bollywood releases like Kaanchi: The Unbreakable, The Revolver Rani and Samrat and Co.

The film 2 States had collected Rs 60.77 croress nett from 2000 screens at the Indian Box Office in the first week. Having lost out a small amount of screen count to the new releases, the movie showed more than 60% drop in its business on its second Friday, but it witnessed considerable amount of growth on Saturday and Sunday. It collected Rs 15.53 crore nett at the domestic Box Office in the second weekend.

The collection of 2 States once again dropped on its second Monday and the film maintained rock-steady on the following days. On the weekdays, the movie has collected Rs 8.65 crores nett at the Indian Box Office, taking its second week total to Rs 24.18 crores nett. Its breakup is Rs 3.51 cr on Fri, Rs 5.55 cr on Sat, Rs 6.47 on Sun, Rs 2.35 cr o Mon, Rs 2.55 cr on Tue, Rs 2 cr on Wed and Rs 1.75 cr on Thu.

Made on a budget of Rs 40 crores, 2 States has minted Rs 84.95 crore nett at the Indian Box Office in 14 days. Now, the movie is fast heading towards Rs 100 crore mark. However, Purani Jeans, Kahin Hai Mera Pyar, Angry Young Man and Kya Dilli Kya Lahore have released this weekend. It should be seen whether these new releases will allow 2 States to cross Rs 100 crore mark in its third week or not.
