Abhay
Deol's
much-awaited
maiden
production
One
By
Two,
which
was
released
in
theatres
across
globe
today,
has
received
a
lackluster
response
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
on
its
opening
day.
The
romantic
comedy,
which
has
been
made
a
with
budget
of
Rs
15
crores,
needs
to
show
a
big
leap
if
it
has
to
recover
its
production
cost.
One
By
Two,
which
was
released
in
record
number
of
theatres
across
the
country,
has
registered
10%
to
20%
occupancy
in
both
single
screens
and
multiplexes
in
the
morning
and
matinee
shows.
The
Abhay
Deol
and
Preeti
Desai
starrer
is
expected
to
witness
improvements
in
its
collection
in
the
evening
and
night
shows.
Bollywood
trade
expert
Taran
Adarsh
writes,
"One
By
Two,
a
solo
release,
did
not
set
the
cash
registers
jingling
as
the
morning
and
noon
shows
witnessed
meagre
footfalls.
The
turnout
was
very
low
and
the
film
will
need
a
miraculous
jump
in
business
to
put
up
decent
numbers
over
the
weekend." He
added,
"Jai
Ho
is
expected
to
be
the
moviegoers'
first
choice."

One
By
Two
is
a
coming
of
age
film
that
is
about
how
two
people
are
destined
to
meet,
but
only
when
their
individual
lives
are
ready
for
each
other.
The
movie
has
garnered
negative
word
from
film
goers.
