Bollywood
actress
Vidya
Balan's
much-hyped
movie
Bobby
Jasoos
has
received
dismal
opening
and
made
poor
collection
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
its
first
weekend.
The
female
detective
movie
has
landed
in
the
second
place,
while
one-week-old
release
Ek
Villain
topped
the
domestic
business
chart.
Its
three-day
business
is
not
even
equal
to
the
first
day
collection
of
The
Dirty
Picture
(Rs
9.25
cr
nett).
Having
garnered
lot
of
public
attention
before
its
release,
Bobby
Jasoos
released
in
1350
screens
worldwide
on
July
4
and
debut
with
a
below
average
occupancy
of
30%.
The
strong
word
of
mouth
was
expected
to
take
its
business
upwards
on
Saturday
and
Sunday.
It
did
show
improvements,
but
it
was
not
upto
the
expected
mark.
The
film
failed
to
cross
Rs
10
crore
mark
in
the
first
weekend.
Bobby
Jasoos
has
collected
approximately
Rs
5.31
crores
nett
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
first
weekend.
Its
breakup
is
Rs
1.78
cr
on
Fri,
Rs
2.53
cr
on
Sat
and
Rs
3
cr
on
Sun.
The
movie,
which
has
been
made
with
whopping
budget
of
Rs
25
crore,
has
recovered
just
20%
of
its
production
cost
in
three
days.
If
it
needs
to
recover
its
budget,
the
film
has
to
show
a
big
jump
its
numbers
on
the
weekdays.
