Daawat-E-Ishq
Box
Office
collection
continues
to
disappoint
us.
Parineeti
Chopra
and
Aditya
Roy
Kapur
have
always
managed
to
be
part
of
successful
movies
in
their
career
but
when
the
two
collaborated
for
the
very
first
time
in
Daawat-E-Ishq,
the
magic
of
the
duo
failed
to
cast
a
spell
on
the
audience
and
therefore
suffered
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
as
well.
The
film
collected
Rs
1.85
crores
on
its
first
Tuesday.
The
total
collection
now
stands
at
Rs
17.65
crores
at
the
domestic
box
office.
The
film
had
collected
Rs
3.74
crores
on
Friday,
Rs
4.37
crores
on
Saturday,
Rs
5.60
crores
on
Sunday
and
Rs
2.25
crores
on
Monday.
So
joining
the
Tuesday's
collection
the
film
has
still
not
managed
to
cross
Rs
20
crores
making
it
very
difficult
for
the
makers
to
recover
the
cost
of
the
film.
The
production
house
may
have
recovered
at
least
a
little
from
the
television
rights,
music
rights
and
even
from
the
promotional
tie-ups
so
the
makers
may
not
incur
any
loss
but
a
good
profit
margin
would
have
definitely
proved
to
be
beneficial.
Both
multiplexes
and
single
screen
theaters
have
been
doing
an
average
business
with
this
film.
It
was
supposed
to
pick
up
based
on
positive
word
of
mouth
but
apparently
it
did't
happen
so!
Guess
majority
of
the
audiences
who
watched
the
film
didn't
like
it.
So
going
by
this,
the
film
has
very
less
chance
of
showing
an
improvement
in
the
Box
Office
collection.
Daawat-E-Ishq's
collection
was
affected
by
Sonam
Kapoor's
Khoobsurat
releasing
on
the
same
day
and
according
to
trade
reports
the
latter
film
has
managed
to
gross
Rs
14
crores
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
and
has
still
not
beaten
Daawat-E-Ishq's
Box
Office
collection.
So
Daawat-E-Ishq
is
still
doing
better
than
any
other
film
currently
running
in
the
theaters.
