Dhoom 3 (15 Days) Third Weekend Collection At Worldwide Box Office

Aamir Khan's Bollywood movie Dhoom 3 seems to be unstoppable. Despite the release of two much-hyped films Sholay 3D and Mr Joe B Carvalho, Aditya Chopra and Vijay Krishna Acharya's first combo film has continued to keep the bells ringing at the Indian Box Office in the third week. The action thriller has topped the domestic collection chart for the third time, beating the new releases.

The action thriller has received better response than Sholay 3D and Mr Joe B Carvalho in the domestic market. Dhoom 3 has collected Rs 12.91 crores nett from its Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions at the Indian Box Office in the third weekend. Its breakup is Rs 3.14 cr on Fri, Rs 4.02 cr on Sat and Rs 5.75 cr on Sun. It has collected Rs 2.10 crores nett, taking its 22-day domestic collection to Rs 272.32 crores nett.


As there were no new Hindi releases, Dhoom 3 has also continued to rock in the international markets. In 14 days, the movie has collected Rs 48.89 crores ($7,846,872) in the USA, Rs 38.81 crores (AED 228,85,839) in the UAE, Rs 25.41 crores (£2,488,265) in the UK, Rs 9.37 crores (A$1,677,174) in Australia, Rs 2.65 crores (NZ$514,154) in New Zealand and Rs 3.90 crores (PKR 6,68,17,000) in Pakistan. Its overseas total collection stands at Rs 155.86 crores ($25.01 million).

Dhoom 3 has collected Rs 426.08 crores nett at the worldwide Box Office in 15 days. Its gross business has surpassed Rs 501.35 crore ($83.56 million) in the global market. On Monday, its production banner, Yash Raj Films (YRF), issued a statement confirming the news. The statement read, "Dhoom 3 continues to create history at both Indian and overseas Box Office. It is now officially the first Indian film to cross Rs 500 crore worldwide."
