Gunday (7 Days) First Week Collection At Box Office

Gunday, which released in 2,500 screens across India on Valentine's Day, has done superb collection at the domestic Box Office in the first week. The Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra starrer has crossed Rs 60 crore mark in the country in seven days and is fast heading towards Rs 100 crore mark. Trade analyst predict that the movie will achieve this magical number in the second week.

The Ali Abbas Zafar-directed film embarked on a flying start at the Indian Box Office on Friday. Generally, Masala films do not open too well at multiplexes. To everyone's surprise, Gunday registered very good amount of occupancy at both single screens and multiplexes on its opening day. But it failed to retain the same response over the weekend. Its business dipped more than 50% on Monday and it continued to drop further on the following weekdays.

Made on a whopping budget of Rs 50 crores, Gunday has recovered its production cost in just five days. The action crime thriller film has collected Rs 63.61 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in the first week. Its breakup is Rs 16.12 cr on Fri, Rs 12.63 cr on Sat, Rs 15.18 cr on Sun, Rs 5.85 cr on Mon, Rs 5.15 cr on Tue, Rs 4.53 cr on Wed and Rs 4.15 cr on Thu.
