Haider (5 Days) Monday Collection At Box Office

Haider movie starring Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj has managed to show improvement in Sunday collections at the Indian Box Office.

Haider being a film for niche audience didn't manage to rake in too much money, but it did manage to impress the viewers and the critics which helped the movie to get promoted and based on some good word of mouth promotions the film has managed to rise from the dumps and showed a good 15-20% increase in the Box Office collections.

Haider made Rs 6.14 crores on the day of it's release, then it managed to rake in Rs 6.93 crores on Friday, Saturday collections were Rs 6.38 crores and finally with all the good word of mouth promotions and a big weekend holiday, the film raked in Rs 7.33 crores. Compared to all other low budget, serious films, Haider has manged to make good collections at the Box Office.

All in all the the second half of 2014 is turning out to be faring well for the Indian Box Office. Monday again is a holiday owing to Bakri Eid so the film will for sure make at least Rs 7.4 crores. So the total Box Office collection of Haider for the last five days is Rs 34.8 crores. Adding to this the international Box Office collection, the 5 days worldwide Box Office collection is Rs 36 crores.

The film has taken advantage of this long weekend, and now from today when the holidays are over, the real test begins. Rajesh Thadani, "It is going to be a crucial period for both the films from Tuesday. They won't have any competition as such with small films releasing this Friday."

Haider released on October 2nd, the film is brilliant, a saga of a boy who seeks revenge for his father's death. A beautiful film that has to be watched on the big screen. Rush to the theatres soon if you haven't watched it yet.
