The movie featuring debutantes Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon in the leads, has done fantastic collection at the Indian Box Office in the first week. It has topped the domestic business chart, beating another much-hyped new release Kochadaiyaan starring Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone in the leads.

The Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon starrer, which released in 2000 screens in the domestic market on May 23, debuted with 50% occupancy in theares on Friday. With the movie getting positive response from viewers, its business was expected to go up on Saturday, but it did not. Instead, it showed dip in its collection on the second day. However, the film witnessed a big leap on Sunday.

On Monday, Heropanti showed 35% drop in its numbers and it maintained rock-steady on the following weekdays. The movie has collected Rs 35.79 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in the first week. Its day-wise breakup is Rs 6.63 cr on Fri, Rs 6.42 cr on Sat, Rs 8.28 cr on Sun, Rs 4.26 cr on Mon, Rs 3.79 cr on Tue, Rs 3.41 cr on Wed and Rs 3 cr on Thu.

However, a few less hyped movies like Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi, City Lights and Tum Ho Yaara have released in theatres this Friday.
