Like in domestic market, Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty opened to an average response in foreign countries, but has shown superb growth on the following days. The Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Singha starrer has done brilliant collection at the Overseas Box Office in the first weekend. But its numbers are not upto the business of Akki's previous releases like Boss and Rowdy Rathore in the key international markets like USA and UK.
Analysing the business of Holiday, Bollywood trade expert Taran Adarsh writes, "The much-awaited biggie Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, which embarked on a slow start in key international markets [except UAE-GCC, where the start was superb], witnessed substantial growth in business from Day 2 onwards. While the Day 1 figure ranged from ordinary to low in these markets, the business on Day 2 and Day 3 helped the film post a decent total over the weekend."
Holiday has collected Rs 10.61 crores ($ 1.796 million) from around 350+ screens at the USA Box Office in the first weekend. Taran Adarsh adds, "As highlighted earlier, the film had a fantastic start in UAE-GCC and maintained the pace all through the weekend. The *opening weekend total* is approx $ 1.796 million [Rs 10.61 cr]."

Akshay Kumar's previous releases Boss and Rowdy Rathore had collected Rs 2.34 crores (£ 2,35,086) and Rs 1.24 crores (£ 1,45,541) from 63 and 60 screens respectively at the UK Box Office. Whereas his latest movie Holiday has collected Rs 1.06 crores (£ 106,496) from 64 screens in the UK in the first weekend.

Boss and Rowdy Rathore had collected Rs 6.70 crores (AED 40,00,000) and Rs 3.17 crores ($ 5,70,000) respectively at the UAE Box Office. Whereas Holiday has collected Rs 4.95 crores (AED 3,074,320) at the UAE Box Office in the first weekend.
Holiday Collection In USA
Boss and Rowdy Rathore had collected Rs. 1.12 crores ($ 1,84,000) and Rs. 2.12 crores ($ 3,81,784) from 103 and 120 screens respectively at the USA Box Office. Whereas Holiday has raked in Rs 1.81 crores ($ 306,591) from 114 screens at the USA Box Office in its opening weekend.

Boss and Rowdy Rathore had collected Rs 32.88 lakhs (A$ 55,346) and Rs 48.83 lakhs (A$ 91,366) from 15 and 16 screens respectively at the Australia Box Office. Whereas Holiday has raked in Rs 53.80 lakhs (A$ 97,266) from 20 screens in Australia in its opening weekend.

Holiday has collected Rs 42.82 lakhs (US$ 72,427) from 17 screens at the Canada Box Office in the first weekend.
