Jai Ho 5 Days Collection Crosses Rs 100 Crore At Box Office

The much-talked about Bollywood movie Jai Ho starring Salman Khan and Daisy Shah in leads, has done decent collection over the weekend and continued to keep the bells ringing at the Box Office on weekdays too. The action drama has surpassed Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide Box Office in five days. But considering its screen count and promotion, trade expert feel that its business is not upto the mark.

Amidst huge and expectations, Jai Ho hit 4,400 screens in India and got decent opening. But its first day collection was not upto the mark and big reason for it was low ticket prices. Having collected Rs 60.68 crores in the domestic market in its opening weekend, the Sohail Khan directed film maintained the momentum on Monday and Tuesday too. The film has collected Rs 78.78 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in five days. Its breakup is Rs 17.75 cr on Fri, Rs 16.68 cr on Sat, Rs 26.25 cr on Sun, Rs 9.50 cr on Mon and Rs 8.50 cr on Tue.


Jai Ho has also done good business in different foreign countries. The Salman Khan and Daisy Shah starrer collected Rs 22.38 crores in its opening weekend and approximately Rs 5 crores on weekdays in the international market. The movie has raked in Rs 27.38 crores at the Overseas Box Office in five days. Its worldwide total collection stands at Rs 106.16 crores nett.

The remake of Chiranjeevi's Telugu film Stalin has released in 4,400 screens in the domestic market and 700 screens in the international arena. Its screen count is almost equal to that to Dhoom 3, which had minted Rs 171.53 crores at the worldwide Box Office in just three days. When compared to the latter, the business of the Salman Khan starrer appears to be very low.
