Mary Kom Sets The Pace At Box Office

Priyanka Chopra-starrer Mary Kom which hit the screens today has garnered a good review. The biopic is truly inspiring. The Box Office collection looks very promising. Mary Kom has been granted exemption in entertainment tax in many states.

The film is all about Olympic medal-winning boxer MC Kom and her struggle she faced to make her dream a reality.

Directed by Omung Kumar the film released on a day when there were no other big releases. This is definitely a big factor for the collection at the Box Office.

There were decent number of crowd for the first-day first-show for this film Mary Kom. We expect the theater occupancy to increase during the weekend.

While the big budget films like Salman Khan's Kick grossed over Rs 200 cr at domestic box office, Rohit Shetty's Singham Returns Rs 130 cr, we expect Mary Kom to reach the 50 Cr club first. Other releases like Ek Villain, 2 States, Jai Ho and Holiday grossed over 100 crore at the Box Office.

Mary Kom featuring Priyanka Chopra, Darshan Kumar, Zachary Coffin, Robin Das and Shakti Singh is awaiting to break the record at Box Office.
