Happy
Ending
had
a
disastrous
Box
Office
collection
on
Tuesday.
The
film
had
huge
fall
in
Box
Office
collections
on
weekdays
compared
to
what
it
made
during
the
weekend.
The
film
managed
to
open
to
15-20%
occupancy
rate
in
theatres
thereby
helping
it
mint
Rs
4
crores
on
day
one.
Saturday
being
a
weekend
off,
gave
it
an
extra
push
and
helped
it
gross
Rs
5
crores
on
day
two.
Based
on
some
positive
word
of
mouth
promotions,
on
Sunday
the
film
managed
to
gross
Rs
5.5
crores.
This
led
to
the
total
first
weekend
Box
Office
collection
to
be
over
Rs
14.5
crores.
But
just
when
the
hopes
were
getting
high
and
the
cast
and
crew
of
Happy
Ending
were
about
to
celebrate,
the
Box
Office
collections
took
a
drastic
dip
and
fell
to
just
Rs
1.8
crores
on
Monday.
On
Tuesday
the
situation
worsened
when
the
collections
reduced
further.
According
to
trade
experts,
the
film
is
said
to
have
collected
a
meager
Rs
1
crore
on
Tuesday,
it's
5th
day
running
in
theatres.
The
film
was
made
with
a
budget
of
Rs
60
crores,
this
is
including
the
promotion
expenditures
as
well.
By
the
looks
of
it
Happy
Ending
has
failed
miserably
and
there
is
no
way
they
can
recover
the
making
coast
of
the
movie
anymore.
The
film
had
got
decent
reviews
yet
why
it
failed,
nobody
knows.
The
film
was
produced
by
Illumianti
Films
(owned
by
Saif
Ali
Khan-Dinesh
Vijjen)
and
Sunil
Lulla
who
will
now
suffer
a
huge
loss
of
investment.
The
film's
Box
Office
collections
joining
Monday
and
Tuesday's
collection
has
resulted
in
Rs
16.30
crores,
an
amount
far
away
from
Rs
60
crores
which
was
invested
on
the
film.
In
spite
of
getting
a
solo
release,
it
has
had
a
disastrous
innings
at
the
domestic
market.
