Saif
Ali
Khan's
Happy
Ending
is
continuing
to
disappoint
with
it's
below
average
Box
Office
collection
at
the
domestic
market.
The
film
started
off
with
a
meager
Rs
4
crores
collection
on
the
opening
day.
The
film
was
expected
to
do
better
business
over
the
weekend
but
in
comparison
to
other
films
like
Haider
and
Kill
Dil,
the
film's
first
weekend
collection
was
quite
less.
On
day
two,
Saturday,
Happy
Ending
had
grossed
over
Rs
5
crores.
On
Sunday,
the
film's
occupancy
rate
spiked,
leading
the
a
collection
of
Rs
5.50
crores
at
the
domestic
market.
The
film
has
got
beaten
by
Kannada
film,
Ambareesha
in
Bangalore
even
though
the
Kannada
film
had
been
getting
negative
reviews.
Happy
Ending
released
in
over
2500
screens
across
the
country
and
its'
over
all
first
weekend
collection
came
to
just
Rs
14.5
crores.
On
Monday
the
occupancy
rate
in
theatre
dipped
further
as
it
was
a
working
day.
Though
the
film
recieved
positive
reviews
and
some
great
word
of
mouth
promotion,
unfortunately
it
could
not
help
the
movie
increase
any
foot-halls
in
the
theatre.
On
Monday
the
film
garnered
only
Rs
3
crores,
bringing
the
over
all
four
days
Box
Office
collection
to
Rs
17.5
crores
approximately.
