Even
though,
Jai
Ho
has
the
potential
to
become
the
biggest
film
of
the
year,
the
trade
nucleus
of
the
industry
have
mixed
expectations
about
the
film.
Some
think
it
may
work
big
time
with
the
masses
and
some
think
it
may
not!
The
film,
directed
and
co
produced
by
Sohail
Khan,
has
already
made
profits
for
the
producer
and
it
is
now
the
distributors'
turn
to
test
their
luck.
Sohail
sold
all
the
rights
of
the
film
to
Eros
International
for
a
whopping
120
crores.
Jai
Ho
is
made
on
a
budget
of
60
crores
Indian
Rupees,
excluding
Salman
Khan's
remuneration.
We
heard
that
Salman
didn't
take
any
remuneration
for
Jai
Ho
as
it
is
his
home
production.
The
film
is
scheduled
to
release
in
5000
screens
across
the
country.
Film
will
be
screened
in
almost
600
screens
in
abroad.
Foreign
distributors
expect
huge
profits
as
the
film
releases
in
US,
Australia
and
UK
and
Persian
Gulf
where
Dabangg
Khan
enjoys
a
mammoth
fan
following.
PVR
Limited
is
going
to
run
the
film
on
80
percentage
of
their
total
screens
as
there
are
no
other
major
releases
this
week.
The
head
operating
officer
of
PVR,
Gautam
Dutta
opines,
" The
kind
of
sentiments
Jai
Ho
reflects
will
connect
with
the
markets
like
UP
but
metros
like
Delhi
and
Mumbai
has
a
softer
response
to
the
movie."
Some
trade
experts
are
cynical
about
the
movie's
business.
They
opine
that
the
film
will
collect
in
centres
such
as
UP
where
Salman
enjoys
a
huge
fan
following
but
in
other
centres,
the
response
has
been
just
lukewarm.
They
feel
that
Jai
Ho
songs
are
not
up
to
the
mark
and
this
may
work
against
the
movie's
success
and
popularity.
In
cinema,
anything
can
happen
!
Well,
we
wish
Sallu's
Jai
Ho
a
great
run
in
both
single
screens
and
multiplexes.
