response
across
the
country.
The
musical-thriller
film
has
done
decent
collection
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
first
weekend.
While
Godzilla
topped
the
domestic
business
chart,
the
Anant
Mahadevan-directed
has
landed
in
the
second
place.
Having
soared
up
viewers'
expectations
to
the
sky
high
prior
its
release,
The
Xpose
released
in
a
large
number
of
cinema
halls
on
May
16.
The
movie
was
expected
to
start
with
a
bang,
but
was
faced
sever
setback
in
the
morning
and
matinee
shows
as
most
of
the
viewers
gave
it
a
miss
to
know
the
results
of
2014
general
election.
However,
the
film
picked
up
well
in
evening
and
night
shows
on
its
opening
day.
A
strong
word
of
mouth
for
The
Xpose
took
its
business
upwards
on
Saturday
and
Sunday.
The

movie
has
collected

crores
nett
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
first
weekend.
Its
breakup
is
Rs

cr
on
Fri,
Rs

cr
on
Sat
and
Rs
4.57
cr
on
Sun.
The
Xpose,
which
has
been
made
with
a
medium
budget,
has
almost
recovered
its
production
cost.
Sources
from
the
production
team
claim
that
the
movie
is
likely
to
collect
the
remaining
amount
along
with
a
small
share
of
profit
by
the
end
of
the
first
week.
