Bajirao Mastani Second Day (Saturday) Box Office Collection: IMPRESSIVE!

The much awaited film of the year, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani has hit the theatres yesterday (December 18, 2015) and very soon the film was inundated with the positive reviews by most of the entertainment websites. The much hyped clash of Bajirao Mastani with SRK's Dilwale also took place at the Indian Box Office. Read on to know, whether Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani gave a tough 'takkar' to Dilwale or not or how far the movie collected on its opening day i.e. Friday!

The magnum opus of Bhansali, Bajirao Mastani opened to the approximately 30% occupancy on its opening day at the Box Office, whereas, as expected Dilwale opened to the occupancy of 70%.

According to trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, "The word of mouth for 'Bajirao Mastani' is very strong, it will gain momentum by the evening shows, but the masses are loving 'Dilwale'. Both the films will continue to do well as we have Christmas weekend followed by New Year. It is an open ground."

The first day collection of Bajirao Mastani was reported by Taran Adarsh as, "#BajiraoMastani Fri ₹ 12.80 cr [3050 screens]. India biz. Film growing rapidly with strong word of mouth and glowing reviews."

And as he has said earlier that the film will witness an impressive growth on weekends, Taran Adarsh reported the official second day collection of the film as,"#BajiraoMastani biz witnessed SUPERB growth on Sat, gaining a STRONG foothold at plexes. Fri 12.80 cr, Sat 15.52 cr. Total: ₹ 28.32 cr."

All the lead casts of the film, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone & Priyanka Chopra, have given an award winning performances. Whereas, Mr Bhansali also made sure to make his much anticipated project worth watching!
