Bajrangi Bhaijaan First Week Box Office Collection: Beats Aamir's PK, Shahrukh's HNY Record
Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan is faring really well and is breaking previously held records at the Indian Box Office. The good word of mouth promotion has helped the movie do good business even on weekdays.
With this film, Salman has created a record of having over 8 films which grossed more than 100 crores at the Box Office. Not just this, he has also beaten films like PK and Dhoom 3 to record the highest first weekend gross collection.
Film distributor, Kiaara wrote, "#BajrangiBhaijaan collected Fantastic " 380 cr " Worldwide on 1st Week. RECORD! #SalmanMEGASTAROfCentury"
So in seven days, Salman's film has managed to gross almost Rs 380 crores worldwide, thereby creating a whole new record in Bollywood. The net collections on Thursday in the domestic market is Rs 15.55 crores, which brings the nett total in India to Rs 184.62 crores.
Speaking about the awesome collections, trade expert Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#BajrangiBhaijaan is now 3rd HIGHEST grosser of Salman, after #ETT and #Kick... Will emerge HIGHEST grosser in Week 2. India biz. AWESOME!"
The film will soon cross Rs 200 crores in India itself, Taran further tweeted, "So far, only one Salman starrer has gone past ₹ 200 cr nett [#Kick]. #BajrangiBhaijaan will be 2nd film to attain the feat. India biz. FAB!"
The first week collections have already surpassed first week collections of Aamir's PK [Rs 183.09 cr] and Shahrukh's HNY [Rs 157.57 cr]. Check out the viewer's opinion about the movie.
