Dum Laga Ke Haisha First Weekend Box Office Collections

Dum Laga Ke Haisha starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar opened to rave reviews on Friday, the film was loved by both the critics and audiences giving it a good boost in spite of zero promotions from the makers.

The film was released rather soon without much publicity, as much as a Yash Raj movie deserves yet owing to good word of mouth promotions the film did well.

As much as the movie was praised it could collect only Rs 1.11 crores at the Box Office on the opening day. Since the movie was not much publicized, this was expected to happen. But day 2 collection prediction was high.

On Saturday the movie minted Rs 2.09 crores, though this is much higher than day one collections, it is still very low for a good movie. As per trade analyst, Sunday collections is said to have soared resulting in Rs 2.85 crores collection.

The total Box Office collections came to Rs 6.08 crores. Monday will again see a dip in collections as it's the first working day.

In south India, the movie saw dip in collections owing to a number of kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu movies of superstars releasing.Let us see if the film can manage to at least meet break even point and recover the cost of making the movie.
